In May 2019, TanenbaumCHAT lost a beloved alumna, friend and TanenbaumCHAT teacher in Jenny Lewis '95 z"l. Two of Jenny's passions were poetry and exercise. In the creative writing department, our school has an Excellence in Creative Writing award that goes to one worthy student every year since Jenny's passing. This year's award went to Ryan Manis '22. On the exercise front, Jenny's husband Warren Snider continued to honour his wife's memory this past weekend by holding the third annual "Jenny's Poets in Motion" bike ride from Vaughan to Collingwood raising money for three organizations that meant so much to her: chailifelinecanada, The Jenny Lewis Memorial Fund at tanenbaumchat and thepmcf.  Kol Hakavod to everyone who took part and continues to honour the memory of such a wonderful family member, friend and teacher. #mayhermemorybeablessing
