A thick layer of oil has been seen approx. 4km from the coastline *around 10:00 GMT+8 on Sunday. Aerial images reveal the extensive spread of the oil spill from sunken tanker MT Terranova.⁣

Filipino coastal communities are bracing for an imminent environmental disaster while recovering from extreme floods due to Typhoon Gaemi #CarinaPH.⁣
