ME. I did! 🎉🥳🎉🥳

Feel Good ride indeed! 

If you had asked me even a year ago if I would enjoy working out, exercising, moving my body, anything, I would have laughed in your face. A lot. (Like, A LOT.) And I know I’ve said all of this before. But I can’t NOT share it, and I’m not going to be shamed for that or for celebrating a milestone. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If reaching rock bottom with my anxiety gave me anything, it gave me this. The urge to move—and the ability to find joy in that movement—was an unexpected gift. (And remember, that movement looks different for everyone. For me, it’s this.)

To be clear, my anxiety isn’t “cured.” I’m in weekly therapy, on medication, learning to meditate, and working through years of shit every day. Anxiety is a part of my life story: this is a tool in my toolbox. And I’m really fucking grateful for it.

I’m also grateful for my literal ride or dies, brittany02121809 and zajacda who didn’t hesitate (too much) when I texted them with an hour and a half notice that I was doing this today (an HOUR-LONG ride) and literally rearranged schedules to do this with me. Because no one rides alone. 

We deserve beers after that.
