🥇TRI-STATE DEKA FIT ROAD SHOW🥇

Coming into this race I had two seperate goals. First, qualify for the DEKA World Championship. Second, podium in my age group. Well ladies and gentlemen, we did both!! 

I felt that I ran a very smooth race overall today and was extremely happy with the performance. "Controlled choas," "be ready to go dark." Those two things I repeated to myself over the course of this race. I was hovering around a 7:10-7:15 min/mi pace for my runs and really attacked each Zone. I had a hiccup and chose a bike with an extremely low seat and was a little too aggressive on the ski. Both in turn caused me to have to shift my focus and adapt. 

I am most fulfilled by the enegry my mom provided today. momma_golik seeing you acting how you did was more fulfilling than winning. You had your phone stop watch going and knew what time I needed to run to qualify without me even telling you. You legit were jumping up and down when I got to Zone 8 because you knew I did it. You were electric & literally threw a parade of your own for me. Mom, I love you. 

The results were exactly what I trained and hoped for.
