Luca Vitale, Mizzou Hockey broadcast manager, chats with former Mizzou center and winger Brett Martin and Mizzou captain Nick Spolec following the Tiger's MACHA Championship. Top-seeded Mizzou defeated the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Arkansas, and Kansas en route to its SECOND STRAIGHT MACHA Championship.

Mizzou fans may remember the Tigers earned the 8th seed last year in this tournament and took down Wash U, Arkansas, and Nebraska-Lincoln en route to its FIRST-EVER MACHA Championship in program history to earn an automatic bid to the ACHA D3 National Tournament. Likewise, the Tigers earned ANOTHER automatic bid to the ACHA D3 National Tournament next month. Pool assignments and seeding are to be determined at this moment.

Luca, Nick, and Brett discuss the initial emotions when Mizzou was crowned MACHA Champions, the difficulty of repeating as conference champions, and the heated final moments of the Mizzou and Kansas contest.

The three also discuss the difference in Mizzou's depth between the two seasons, how second-year players like Nate Austin, Danny Rudman, and Eli Baumstark experience contributed to the repeat, and how this run is different from last year's run considering the amount of youth on this team.
