Playing hockey as a girl, it is very difficult to find teams to play in, especially as a beginning teenager. And playing with boys is fun, but there’s something about playing with other girls like you! During the coarse of my hockey journey, I have only played a hockey match about 6 times and never with girls. When I decided to look for teams to practice, they all said I couldn’t join because of my age and skill level. That sucked for a while, then I decided to take matters into your own hands. 😅 I sent some emails and spoke to some other girls and my mentor about it and we have decided to start a recreational team for teenage girls in Montréal! I mean, what’s better than playing an awesome game of hockey?!? With this team we are promising an environment where you can learn, laugh, fall and play the game you love! With other girls! You will also find confort in the fact that there’s other people like you who are beginners as well. (Like me for example 😅) Why go through this journey alone, when there’s a sisterhood of supportive hockey players here to do this with you? 😁 I can’t wait to see this all unfold.
