My first time back on the ice post COVID! 
I’ve been skating for about 9 months this month and today I worked on my backward stride. 

I had a bit of issues going backwards for a long time, as after a few minutes my skates would  hook on the ice and I’d trip. Notice the little trip at the end? 😂

I’m also curious to know, how can I skate faster backwards? I was a bit slow here 🤔

Note to self: Bend your knees! I also have a little notebook where I used document what I did on the ice everyday before the pandemic. I used to always give myself a score for that session. So I guess based on today’s session, and how long I could hold my backwards movement, I’ll give myself a 2/10 😅 

This was free skate, I hope hockey can resume soon! So much to learn!
