This is my best friend Kaitlin Romero, and today she left for Chicago because she is a damn star. She has taught me kindness, courage, and persistence. And also how to use cruise control. Kaitlin has been a constant source of positivity in my life for the last 7 years, never failing to make me laugh and always saying the right thing. Chicago is not ready for this headstrong homie or her unmatched talents and brilliance. Lafayette has always been a better place because of you, Kaitlin, and I am so thankful for every memory you’ve helped me create there.
