KAREN TRIES TO POLICE FAMILY OVER VISITORS COMING FOR NIECE’S DEATH

This Karen in Columbus, GA has lost her d*mn mind. So, TikToker @ kyieshakikilola1 recently moved into a new subdivision. There was a death in the family where her niece had passed, so naturally, they had a lot of visitors coming in and out to pay their respects. Now, I don’t know where people decided they could put a limit on how much time you have to grieve someone’s passing at your own house, but that’s exactly what Karen was doing here. Although the recording starts mid-encounter, it’s clear that Karen is interrogating the Black couple about the amount of visitors they’re getting and suggesting that they’re running an illegal business of some sort.

Throughout the encounter, Karen pulled a few classic moves. She pulled the “I’m concerned for my neighborhood” card, which is always used against Black people and could be substituted for, “You’re Black, you’re a problem, and you don’t belong.” Karen claimed the neighborhood as her own, suggesting that it isn’t the couple’s neighborhood. And of course, Karen threatened to call the cops to get back up from the lethally armed boys in blue with a history of siding with YT Supremacy. This couple wasn’t going. Although we don’t know what they meant by, we aren’t the typical Black family, our guess is that this was meant to be taken with the same spirit as, “You got the right one.” What do you think?
