University of Kentucky student, #SophiaRosing has been arrested after a now viral video shows her physically and verbally assaulting another student.

A video that is circulating online, shows Sophia attacking #KylahSpring, another student who was working an overnight shift at the front desk of the residence hall. In the video Sophia can be heard referring to Kylah several times as “n****r b***h.”

Kylah has since appeared on Facebook Live saying that Instagram has taken down her initial post and banned her from posting any new content. Before it was removed, the post had over 3,000 likes and over 1,200 comments. Her post from TikTok has also been removed.

According to wkyt, Sophia is facing several criminal charges, including two counts of assault, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

The University of Kentucky has released a statement following the incident saying “We condemn this behavior and will not tolerate it under any circumstance. The safety and well being of our community has been and will continue to be our top priority”. (🎥: ky.janalise )(SWIPE)
