Our #MediavineMonday feature is Schnelle Acevedo, aka glamnellie, of Brooklyn Active Mama! Schnelle sustains a full-time income through Mediavine ad revenue and teaches others to do the same.

Today, she’s launching Blogging for Black Girls, a course designed to teach new bloggers everything they need to know to make sure they’re not leaving money on the table. Check it out at bloggingforblackgirls.com and read on to learn more about Schnelle!

Q: What does your daily blogging routine look like?

A: I check my Dashboard first thing in the morning, followed by daily traffic stats. I check SEMrush and Google Search Console for anything unusual. Then I make a few web stories, update older blog posts (usually with a brand new re-write), and then work on new content.

Q: How has being a part of Mediavine helped you?

A: Mediavine made a way for me when the pandemic gutted my in person sponsored events. I buckled down and put all my focus in ad revenue and have not looked back since. Now that I have gotten to a place where my website is a well-oiled machine, I want to teach other Black women how to blog and make passive income from their blogs.

Q: How is your business growing?

A: I have been able to hire photographers, a new writer and a Pinterest specialist to help me take a step back from the everyday tasks and focus on the overall growth of my company.
