WE DID IT! The California Future of Abortion Council has sent a historic legislative package to gavinnewsom for signature to ensure that CA can continue to lead as a #ReproductiveFreedom State for all people! Here’s what we've accomplished to ensure CA meets this moment!

* Introduced a 16-bill legislative package:
- Passed 13 bills in the #CALeg for Gov. to sign
- Qualified #Prop1 for the ballot to specifically enshrine the right to abortion in our state constitution
- Accomplished #AB2529 in the budget
- Got #AB1666 signed into law

* Advanced both of our sponsored 2-year bills:
- #SB245 to remove cost barriers to abortion access was signed into law in March 2022
- #SB523, the Contraceptive Equity Act of 2022, passed the legislature yesterday and is headed to the Gov. for signature

* Secured a historic $205 million in the state budget to support building and enhancing California’s infrastructure, service delivery, and programs necessary to be a #ReproductiveFreedom State for anyone seeking abortion and contraceptive care.
