Not having a doorbell forces visitors to communicate with me in different ways and I like it!

This isn’t necessarily a recommendation - it’s just what’s so in my home and my opinion about it 💕

Our local police and fire station are aware that someone deaf lives in the home. If worst case scenarios occur they will force their way in and make sure everyone is accounted for.

Transcript: So when we moved into our house, it was a new build and we don’t have a doorbell. It was fine in the beginning because my dogs would always bark when somebody would knock or anything outside the door really so that was great but as they got older they couldn’t hear or didn’t care about knocking at the door but that didn’t work. But I kind of like it because it makes visitors  knock really loud or if it’s a friend they are going to text me. So I kinda like it much better not having a doorbell. What are your thoughts?
