“You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” just passed a million views in 24 hours. Working with lindseystirling and sabrinacarpenter was a fantastic experience. Both of the girls play to camera with absolute expertise. Whether singing, dancing or playing violin - there was no shortage of dizzying talent between the two. 
This particular frame is a favorite of mine and was one that serendipitously presented itself. We’d been shooting the bar scene for about four hours when the sun finally rose and started blasting through the stained glass windows. 
My gaffer drob_dp pointed out what was occurring and we immediately cut our take and ran over to take advantage of the very welcome but it rather unexpected “Grinch light”, which I think ultimately tied the music video together. (Alexa Mini // Cooke Anamorphic Primes)
