Thank you @zendaya @kizzithompson and family for bringing this artwork by Adia Millett to life on the newly renovated basketball courts at Lowell Park in Oakland!

"This piece is inspired by the idea of communal levitation, lifting each other up, like a child lifts a kite, paper airplane, or a basketball. Traces of those objects, and an ancestral mask lay across the courts surface. The colors and shapes were chosen to evoke expansion, joy and strength!"
