To celebrate the 2023 NWSL Championship, we held a special Athlete Ambassador Program event with our National Partner delta. Girls from girlsincsandiego and armed_services_ymca joined us at sandiegostateuniversity for a tour of the Fowler Athletics Center, panel conversations, and an invite to the SDSU Women’s Volleyball Game. The first panel featured nwsl Chief People and Culture Officer Lauren Lopez and CEO and Founder of justwomenssports haleyrosen who spoke about their experience as leaders in the women’s sports movement. Then elite athletes rachel_00_garcia, nayatapper and lomomma took the stage to share their path as professional athletes and what motivates them to #KeepPlaying. Attendees left with an NWSL x Delta gift bag, a new sports bra, and a ticket to the #NWSLChampionship game. #KeepServing #KeepClimbing
