For grateful patient Shelly Andrews, evidence-based acupuncture therapy at our cancer center offered relief from a range of symptoms and enhanced her sense of wellbeing during cancer treatment. Acupuncture oncology is a key part of City of Hope’s Cherng Family Center for Integrative Oncology, a first-of-its-kind integrative oncology program that brings together Eastern and Western medicine to improve outcomes and quality of life for people with cancer.
 
Acupuncturist oncologist Amy Truong, D.T.C.M., M.P.H., L.A.C. is focused on Shelly’s needs and truly listens. “I walked out of my appointment with a new positive outlook,” Shelly said. “City of Hope has done an incredible job for their patients” by creating and expanding these services.
