Lori Newbold from Seminaries and Institutes of Religion understands that family scripture study can sometimes be a STRUGGLE! Here are her favorite ways to make family scripture study more engaging! 📖
 
1. Focus on Jesus Christ. Children are craving The Savior. Look for Him on every page.
2. Foster discovery and curiosity. Encourage your children to ask questions and teach them to wonder and ponder! It's okay to wonder about things and not know the answer.
3. Look up words. The scriptures can be boring if our children don't understand what they mean! Use dictionaries to increase understanding.
4. Check for understanding. Especially with little children, pausing for a minute to ensure they know what's going on can be really helpful.
