Behind their journey to the Olympics were years of hard work and perseverance. We were fortunate to witness and cheer for our home athletes on and off the stage — and we believe in our heroes to never stop moving. 

Women’s individual foil representative #ChanNokSze Daphne was the third female foil fencer to ever represent Hong Kong in the Olympics. Against an opponent 25 places higher in world rankings, Daphne fought with courage, and took the loss with grace and a smile. 

Men’s individual epee representative #HoWaiHang gave his all against his long-time rival from Japan, and even took a five-point lead at one time, beating his previous personal best record in the event.

Men’s vault gymnastics representative #ShekWaiHung was undeterred by injuries, making good his promise from 3 years ago to compete again in Paris. 

Women’s Judo representative #WongKaLee was the first judoka from Hong Kong to grace the Olympic stage since 12 years ago. Every bruise gained from her battles will become the fuel for Ka Lee to grow stronger. 

Their journey in #Paris2024 may have come to an end, but there’s no stopping them moving — #EveryMoveCounts.
