I used to hate this time of the year. I usually saw families coming together and spending time together, and growing up we did nothing. 
My sister and I would always say, when we have our own families, we will do everything together and do things we never got to as kids. As an adult, I’m getting to create a life I never had. 
No more sadness around the holiday seasons. My heart feels warm ❤️
