Soft launch: I wrote a memoir about my experience thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail! I’m working through editing it now, and am planning to self-publish it through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing next year. That feels more realistic than trying to find an agent or pitching it to publishing houses. Has anyone ever self-published a book with KDP?
