I’ve had three backpacking weekend trips in the past month cancelled - either for smoke (West Virginia) or snow (Colorado). But thathikergirl and I finally got out for a short one to Chicago Lakes this past weekend! It wasn’t our plan A, but it was close to home, not snow-covered, and gorgeous! So hooray for that. 😊 P.S. This first pic is of a labyrinth in the middle of the woods. You’re supposed to walk through with intention and pause in the middle to reflect. Would you walk through? 🎒🥾
