Players 👇🤩
Find ways to defend your love/joy for the game. There is something aside from winning that kept you coming back to the game and created a sense of joy around it for you. As players, we’re responsible to OURSELVES to make sure no one (parents, coaches, refs, etc.) can steal that joy from us. Focus on what you love about the game, not the things that make the game hard to love.

Coaches👇🤝
Keep the focus on player development instead of the wins and losses. As coaches, our level of success is often based on our record. It is an important job of ours to be sure we don’t let that spill out in the way we interact with and lead our players. Our job is to guide players through their journey of becoming the athlete they want to be. The amount of games they win doesn’t need to play a factor in their growth. You don’t need a team full of robots to win games. It’s more important to have players who understand how to control the game and star in their role.
