Fresh from the Venice Biennale, acclaimed filmmaker and contemporary artist Saodat Ismailova makes a stop in Singapore to unpack her work and artistic trajectories from 25–30 April 2024.

🗣Join Saodat on 25 April as she gives the Closing Keynote, “Unearthing the Archive.” She discusses the different trajectories - ecology, tradition, living with the non-human, colonialism, and the female universe - that dominate her oeuvre.

🎞 From 26–30 April, Saodat engages in intimate conversations on film-specific topics and ends the night with a screening of the film. POA Studio - 5 Nights, 5 Topics, 5 Films - will feature: Aral, Fishing in an Invisible Sea, The Haunted, Her Right, Chillahona, and Stains of Oxus.
