@theredhelicopter is inviting you to show how the wisdom of simple generosity and childlike optimism, and the human connectedness it creates, helped solve a seemingly unsolvable "adult" problem with two new categories for our 2023-2024 festival season! This "a-ha moment" is what we call a "red helicopter moment" (the TED Talk does this in 15 minutes).⁠

For the "Short" Category there will be (3) separate winners of a $500 cash prize each for submissions received between; 1/1/24-3/1/24; and 3/2/24-4/29/24.⁠

For the "Long" Category, the final deadline is on 7/1/24. There will be (1) winner of a $1500 cash prize, announced live at the 2024 Teen Indie Awards.⁠
