Discovering who I was at a young age was one of the easiest things for me because of my mama. Growing up in North Philly can be rough for a little boy who would rather sing show-tunes and dress up than go play in dirt and wrestle with his friends haha but don’t get me wrong I did plenty of that too! I have the scars to prove it! What I’m saying is having someone see you for who you are long before you realize it is one of the greatest gifts you can receive as a young gay kid. Through every realization and transition my mama was and has been there it’s because of parents like her that kids like me can grow up to become the people they were meant to be in this world.  Showing care has never been more important and that’s why I’m proud to partner with neutrogena which, through the #CareWithPride initiative, has donated over $1 million to LGBTQIA+ orgs fighting for us to simply be and love ourselves. Thank you mama for always instilling in me that who I am is enough and that the spark I was born with is mine to shine and illuminate the world! I love you so much.  #paidpartner
