I may be the most recently hired member of Columbia’s faculty, but I am old enough to have attended the funeral of a wonderful Columbia student who was murdered in her prime by Hamas as part of The Intifada.

Calling for people worldwide to engage in violence similar to that which killed Sara Duker is nothing short of despicable. 

Rest In Peace, Sara and Matt. We have not forgotten you.
