I watched Fallen Angels a few weeks ago and now I can’t stop thinking about filming in tunnels. I think snoricam shot on the scooter changed my life. It’s weird that there’s these awakening moments you have as an artist. You see something that just absolutely blows your mind for whatever reason. It’s beauty, it’s simplicity, even the beauty of its simplicity. 

Oh yeah, I watched Chungking Express right after. I know, I know, Fallen Angels is technically a sequel. But even out of order, they were both amazing. Life changing pieces of cinema. Even Hong Kong filmmakers that make movies about strange people can have an affect on racing video that some dude from Canada films.
