#MVSU2020Speaks “Over the course of these last years of my life, I had opportunities to choose which direction of my life I wanted to go. I chose to go down the road of success and  it led me to Mississippi Valley State University. My undergraduate experience at the ‘Educational Oasis of the Mississippi Delta’ has come to an end. I thank God for my family, friends, educators, and mentors. This journey hasn’t been easy, but it sure has been worth it. The beginning was the most difficult. The devil came in and tried to take me out, but my God said NO! I took some time off from school, however, I continued to fight my way through.
