This means the world to me, right as we're in the middle of production for Season 5 of the #BareFeetSeries!  I am honored to be a finalist in newsweeks’s The Future of Travel Awards 2021 for Storytelling - for the past 11 years, I have been connecting with people around the world through the universal languages of dance & music - I like to say I make new friends by dancing with strangers, and it's been such a privilege to share those stories with the world.  But the biggest privilege is that people are touched by my dance adventures and are inspired to see the world in deeper way because of them!

I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize that it is also a privilege to be a woman with an education and to have the opportunity to be able to do this in the first place - it shouldn’t be, but it is.  And these past 2 weeks have been a difficult reminder of that.  ALL Women MUST have every right to education, to work, to take up space, to make noise, to travel freely and safely, to share their voices with the world, to be equal!
