With our 2-part special coming to pbs stations in less than a month, I want to share more of how the #BareFeetSeries came to fruition.  I have always been (and plan to always be) very transparent about the process of building a passion project - Bare Feet was something that I wanted to create in order to combine the two things that bring me the most joy, #travel & #dance.  But I’ll never say it was (or is) easy to do - that would be a flat out lie.  Not everyday is filled with moment after moment of elation - those moments come in spurts, sometimes few and far between depending on what is happening with your project and what’s happening in the world.  But I always like to share that in order to pursue a passion project, I believe it takes 3 important things, all starting with the letter P.  Let’s start with that first P: 
PASSION!

If you’re going to invest your time, your own money, your own blood, sweat, and tears, and your LIFE to pursue a dream, you have to make sure you LOVE it and that it brings you happiness.  It’s something that you have to be OBSESSED with and that you won’t get tired of working on, tired of talking about, or tired of chasing.  Dancing with strangers is something I can’t live without, and even during a global pandemic, I’ve figured out how to continue that mission with our #BareFeetLIVE series - it is my LIFE!
