Men’s Club Championship at National

Club Championship season has arrived at the Union League. And we’re off to a hot start after a few long days of golf at National. 

The tournament kicked off Thursday with a qualifier for the Championship Flight. The top 8 battled it out for 18 holes on Friday morning with the top 4 advancing to Saturday. A 36-hole final on Sunday awaited the top 2. In the First Flight, 4 players competed on Friday with finals on Saturday. 

On Saturday morning, defending champ TJ Robertson advanced past George Braun, Jr. He would meet John Venne in the Championship match following his win over Brian Kelly. 

In the the First Flight, Ron Skotarczak captured the title defeating Tom Warner in the finals. 

On Sunday, it would take all 36 for TJ Robertson to defend his title successfully.
