Although my trip was very limited, I was happy to see so many familiar faces.

Indie Brewing: Vic told me his Mom would be there selling pupusas and his sister would also be there selling her jewelry line. So I brought my family to support his family. That’s what Boyle Heights is all about. Community.

Frogtown Brewery: my sweetest love, Mallory demanded I come see her so that we can bask in each other’s awesomeness. How could I say No? Keep the Czech Pils cold for me. I’ll be back.

LA Ale Works: I’m obsessed with Kip’s Pale Ales. They’re my favorite. I miss them. To add, I met the bar staff who a portion of them happened to have lived in NY at some point. They were amazing and even introduced Scrapalicious. What an honor.

I can’t wait to come back. And I will. Soon.
