Today In Hip-Hop: Jay-Z dropped his 12th studio album “Magna Carta Holy Grail” on July 4, 2013

As his final album released on Roc-A-Fella Records, Jay-Z aimed to push the needle from a sonic POV and conceptually, HOV sought to explore the more mature and luxurious fruits of his labor such as his long standing wealth, marriage, fatherhood, politics and the evolution of his life and career.

Some of the hits off this classic include “Tom Ford,” “Picasso Baby,” “Part II (On The Run), “F*ckwithmeyouknowigotit” and more.

What’s your favorite track off this album? Keep us locked in the comments.
