Heartbroken 💔 

This year has not been easy both on and off the field. But I am so proud of each and everyone of my teammates for continuing to show up and step up when called upon. Definitely not the result we wanted but we as a team have grown so much. 

This year was like no other and for as much of it that was tough, and sad, and draining, I loved every second of it. Because I have the best teammates in the world and honestly don’t know where I would be without them today. 

The past two years have been the toughest two years in my life. I miss my Dad. A lot. And I cry. A lot. But the thing I could always count on is my teammates/family being there when I needed them the most. 

Soccer has been my outlet during this time and where I find my light. It allows me to feel the presence of my Dad every time I step onto the field. Unfortunately, this year I have been out with many injuries. The most I have ever been out in my career. And soccer, my light, was not always there. 

But guess what, my teammates/coaches were. And they continue to show me the importance of the relationships we build in this sport. Yes, we are soccer players, but we are human first. And humans need one another to survive this crazy world. 

So with that being said, I will continue to be my smiley self because I am grateful. And blessed. To have my @chicagoredstars in my corner. Always. ❤️
