My dad is 82 years old. He wakes up every day and mows lawns for 8 hours in the Florida heat, and does it with a smile. I’m really grateful for having two parents who showed me everyday what hard work and perseverance is really all about. Not sure how my dad had the energy to get up with me every morning in third and fourth grade at 4:30am to take me to practice, accompany me on my runs, and workouts before school 🤯🥰 As I get older I appreciate some of the tough love a bit more than I did then. So many of the lessons he instilled helped me develop such a deep sense of independence at an early age 💜I look back on so many of my early memories playing tennis and laugh thinking about how whenever I would beat the boys my age, the way my dad would give them a tough time when they would avoid playing against me after🤣 #girldad #fathersday2021
