I’ve heard it all… but luckily I never took any of it to heart. 

I thought, what if I just take her with me? What if I just start with short hikes? What if I plan the road trip around her nap schedule? 

I got out and tried. I forgot things… figured out what worked.. until it didn’t.. and then figured it out again. With every adventure my confidence in myself as a mother grew… and so did my connection to my kiddo. 

Our most recent big adventure was a 3 week road trip from CO to WA to Canada in my camper van and I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of sharing the adventures from that trip. I am super excited to share more of it here as I have time to go through it all (#momlife). In the meantime, I just posted a vlog from our Vancouver Island adventures on my YouTube channel.
