Happy Diwali!
Today, we celebrate the Festival of Lights, the beauty of good over evil, light over darkness!  It has been a week to celebrate, good news of hope for our future, light to come out of this darkness and hopelessness.  I miss celebrating Diwali in New York City with my friends and extended Indian family, but I know we will be back at South Street Seaport again for next year’s celebrations.  Until then, I’m grateful for these memories, and I’ll be reliving them while sipping some masala chai here at home today.  A big thank you to everyone who made this #BareFeetNYC episode possible, especially madein_ny, sarinajain, baxnyc, aalokam, djrekha, garbaindcity, and more!
