SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨SEBASTIAN GOMEZ✨ Sebastian is one of the kindest students in the Class of 2020. Everyday Sebastian would walk around the halls with a bright smile on his face. In the 7th grade, Sebastian came to Westhampton from Columbia. He had no knowledge of the English language and had to pick up on it quickly. In middle school he became fluent in the English language. Sebastian has played a big role in helping students struggling in the Spanish classroom, taking it upon himself to help others understand and speak fluent Spanish. Sebastian says, “It’s sad to end our senior year like this but I am thankful for all the awesome memories I have made with my classmates here at Westhampton Beach.” Sebastian will be attending Suffolk County Community College in the fall and will be majoring in psychology.
