Images from Fortepan Iowa, a historic digital photo archive came to life today. Isaac Campbell, the lead artist of the wheat-pasting crew, fine-tuned his skill in Hungary last year as a Fulbright scholar. UNI professor of Interactive Digital Studies Bettina Fabos and student Isaiah Patton jumped in to finish the larger-than-life image to present to Cedar Falls resident and subject of one of the photos, Shirley Dean.
