Top 6 Things To Do on Kauai 🏝️⬇️
It doesn’t get much better than these textures & colors along Kauai’s coast. 🤩 I’ve been lucky to visit this amazing island a few times now and still consider it my favorite part of Hawaii. If you’re a sucker for outdoor adventure, save this post for planning a trip here! 💚💙

Here are some of my recommendations:

1️⃣ An open-door helicopter ride over the famous Nā Pali Coast is an absolute must. That’s how I was able to capture most of these photos with my SonyAlpha #a7riii (Slides 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 & 10). #AlphaCollective 📸

2️⃣ I suggest getting a rental car and an AirBnB near the town of Princeville. I love staying on the northern part of the island because there’s more to do there and great food options. Don’t miss Hideaway Beach, Hanalei Beach and the Queen’s Bath (Slide 4) swimming area. 🌊

3️⃣ Make sure to visit Waimea Canyon State Park (Slide 2) to get up close views of the incredible landscape from various hikes and lookout spots. ⛰️

4️⃣ Go hiking at Kalepa Ridge Trail (Slide 6) in the Nā Pali Coast State Wilderness park to immerse yourself in nature and see some of the best ocean views on the island. This intermediate hike is about 2 miles out-and-back. 🥾

5️⃣ Spend a day driving around the island. Be sure to check out some of the popular beaches on the south side of Kauai. I loved flying my drone at Poipu Beach (Slide 8) because it was full of happy people. 😎

6️⃣ Last but not least, you MUST treat yourself to Hawaiian Shaved Ice. My favorite place is called Wailua. 🍧
