Eight weeks from today: The 101st edition of the rivalry as CHS Football plays at St. Joe’s, one season after the Crusaders took the lead in the all-time series

As highlighted in the most recent issue of CHS Today magazine, canisiushsfb rules the rivalry for the first time since 1986 after victories of 49-7 in the regular season and 42-0 in the playoffs. Canisius has a 49-48-3 lead in the series, which began in 1921.

Canisius has won nine straight and 19 of the teams’ last 20 meetings. Five of the last eight CHS wins have come by shutout — including in playoff victories the last two years.
