After becoming the first person of Asian descent to win the NCAA 100m title this year, Louie Hinchcliffe carried that momentum by qualifying for the Paris Olympics.

But he didn’t stop there. In the first round, he WON his heat, beating eventual champion Noah Lyles and others. In the semis, he placed third in heat heat, this time finishing after Oblique Seville and Noah Lyles. 

Though he didn’t make the finals, he proved to the world that he will be a THREAT for years to come.
