Tour Tuesday: The NEW Byrnes Hall 🤩
Byrnes Hall is one of three high rises in the Horseshoe and the place where generations of first-year Tigers have made their best friends while living together with 1,400 students … since 1970!
A little over a year ago, we started renovating the high rises so future Tigers can keep the tradition going, and Byrnes Hall is ready to house students again.
Here’s what you’ll see in our first renovated high rise:
- Fully accessible layout for Tigers with mobility disabilities
- Now, wet-core bathrooms that feature full closing locking doors
- Added and enhanced social spaces
- All new furniture
- Moved and improved stairs
- An amazing view from floor 10
What are your favorite memories in Byrnes Hall?
