Amanda’s responsibilities include producing and directing podcasts, live webcasts, and creating video projects for The Conference Board social media and marketing. She also conducts interviews and takes pictures at in-person conferences. 

Amanda found this job through LinkedIn and applied to the Assistant Producer position. 

Favorite memory from La Salle?
“I have so many favorite memories from La Salle but one of my favorites was being on the Step Team and performing at a step competition. Step Team was one of my favorite activities. It was fun being part of a team who could coordinate such cool sounds and moves together. And whenever we performed, everyone was super impressed.”

Valuable lesson learned?
“One thing I learned from La Salle that always sticks with me is, ‘it's about who you know.’ Making and keeping connections with people is so important because you never know where it could lead. At my last job, we went to visit The Conference Board (where I work now) for collaboration opportunities. The producer gave me a tour and I connected with him afterwards on LinkedIn. A year or so later, I applied for the Assistant Producer position and he reached out to me directly for an interview.”

Advice for Students?
“Be in the moment and be present with yourself. Take in your surroundings and appreciate where you are and all the great memories you'll create. Take (good) risks and don't overthink.”
