Customer Account Manager at Comcast Business

Dan is the face of his company for many of their clients. His responsibilities include directly working with small to medium businesses to ensure their telecommunications needs are met. He meets with a variety of clients and helps them find the best solution.

Dan found this job through networking. Bro. Gerry Molyneaux helped connect him with an alumnus, Eric Wanzer, who is now the Director of Sales Strategy there.

Favorite memory from La Salle?
“My most cherished memories at La Salle were the LIVE trips. I had the lucky opportunity to attend 3 trips across the country. Those trips indebted me with lasting friendships and a worldview that I am still building upon today.”

Valuable lesson learned?
“The biggest lesson I've learned from speaking with just about every industry out there is to really actively listen to people, no matter where you find yourself. Interpersonal exchanges are seemingly becoming quicker and more transactional with technology and other advances, and I believe active listening to those around you goes a long way.”

Advice for Students?
“Internships and clubs are great ways to build your brand and find what you love. Growing outside your 9-5 can lead to some rewarding opportunities. I'm currently involved with two local nonprofits. I write blog posts for Awbury Arboretum, a continuation of an internship I had at La Salle. And I also serve as board secretary for Face to Face, a social services organization that is a staple to the Germantown community. Both connections allow me to round out my professional career, while also giving me the opportunity to pursue my passions. There is always time for the things you love to do!”
