Michael’s responsibilities include running the team that brings sales and marketing together. Mitchell Martin is a staffing firm that specializes in placing IT and Healthcare talent. They serve their customers depending on their needs which includes data, research, materials, and coordinate marketing initiatives with their teams. Additionally, they attract new clients and identify marketing tactics, platforms, and content that will resonate with their audiences’ goals.

Michael found this job by being promoted. His current company acquired the previous company he worked for and then he was promoted as the first Director of Sales Enablement.

Favorite memory from La Salle? 
“There are countless great memories, but one that always makes me smile is storming the court at the Palestra. It was an intense game, constantly back and forth. At the final buzzer, it was a complete instinctual reaction. Everyone jumped off the bleachers and mobbed the players. It was pure joy. I lost a shoe and I was fine with that, but as I’m hobbling out of the Palestra, I noticed something shiny and red. My shoe had been kicked across the court to the exact area I was walking out. That was the cherry on top of an amazing moment that I cherish.”
 
Valuable lesson learned?
“I came into La Salle convinced I only cared about one thing, being on the radio. WEXP and La Salle’s communication program prepared me for that career. I was lucky enough to be a professional broadcaster, travel, work at radio stations, write for CBS Philly and a variety of other adventures. But my professors encouraged me to be well-rounded. That advice prepared me to shift my career to where I am today. It opened my mind to understanding the business aspect of creativity. I love creating content and while that gives the outlet I search for, looking at it through a business lens allows it to be impactful. The World Staffing Award named me as one of the “Top 100 Staffing Leaders to Watch” in 2023. I’m really proud of that.”
