Studying during the Summer can be hard. Especially after coming back from a break or still being in vacay mode. 

Here are a few tips that have helped me stay academically organized 🥰📚✏️ (read below) 

These study habits took me through my undergraduate days. Sharing them in the hopes that it helps you too!! 

1. Have a schedule on what needs to get done. 📓
If you have a busy life, like myself, then having a journal or application (app) that will help you stay you organized is the way to go. I write everything from sending an email to submitting an assignment to prevent me from forgetting to do anything important. 

2. Set a timer ⏱️ 
This helps me when I know I am on a time crunch. If I have 30 mins or an hour, setting time aside to complete the assignment increases my focus while putting some pressure to stay on track to submit on time. Don’t give yourself 3 hours for an assignment that can be done in one. Instead work piece by piece so you don’t feel as overwhelmed.

3. Put yourself in an environment where you can focus ☀️
Whether it is the library or an outside table, this one is a recent change that I’ve started to incorporate. In the past, this wasn’t something that I would think about often. I’ve noticed that sometimes I can work better in a chaotic environment or a quiet environment. But as soon as I know I need to be around others who are studying or need to be alone to finish the assignment, it was a total game changer.
