New details have emerged regarding the fatal shooting of #SonyaMassey, #Roomies. #SeanGrayson, the deputy who shot Massey in her Illinois home after she called the police for help last month, said he was under the impression that Massey meant him harm during the exchange.

Body camera footage shows Grayson instructing Massey to remove a pot of boiling liquid from her stove. In the deputy’s field report, he claims that when Massey yelled “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” while removing the pot, he believed she “intended to kill me.”
