## Caption

The #NJDevils have acquired goaltender Jake Allen from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for a conditional third round pick. He’s a veteran and will take some pressure off Nico Daws, who has played a ton lately. But Allen has struggled himself, with a .892 SV% this season. He has another year left on his deal after this season, meaning he will likely be the Devils’ backup next season. His cap hit is $3.85 million & MTL is retaining 50% of his salary. 😈
